MP for Wrexham Ian Lucas today officially opened the ASH Group’s New Offices on the Wrexham Industrial Estate.

The ASH Group, one of the North West and North Wales’ leading waste management firms, has recently expanded operations in Wrexham, and as a result, the new office was a key component of the company’s growth.

John Dennan, Director of The ASH Group who was responsible for the build commented ”We are delighted to announce the opening of the new office on the Wrexham Industrial Estate. Our Wrexham depot is vital to the overall function of our business, and not only will it strengthen our commitment to growing the company, it will allow us to continue to provide a high level of service to our customer base. We are delighted to be located in Wrexham, and employ many people from the local area as part of our ever expanding workforce.”

The new office will house Operations, Customer Service and Contract teams, and there are plans afoot to increase the number of staff working for the company over the coming months.

MP for Wrexham Ian Lucas, who initially broke ground on the development in 2016 said ” “This is a vote of confidence in Wrexham and I was delighted to return to open the offices today. I’d like to thank John and the team for making me welcome, and I am pleased that the Wrexham base will be integral to their expansion plans.”

The ASH Group provides a varied portfolio of waste management business from its bases in Wrexham, Chester, Ellesmere Port and Widnes, and currently employs over 180 staff across all its sites. Managing Director Neil Hassall added ”We are in a period of continued growth across the group as a whole at present, and our new offices in Wrexham are the next stage in our group development. We are delighted with the new office, and look forward to forging new links with new customers across our service regions”
